Dear Mitigate ESG Platform users,

We are excited to share with you the latest updates on the Mitigate ESG platform!

Please take a look at the news below, categorized into two sections:

  • New features
  • Other improvements

New features

VSME Standard Enhancements

We’ve made significant improvements to enhance work with the VSME standard.

ESRS Standard Deactivation Option: Now it is possible to deactivate the ESRS standard in Company Settings. This automatically hides sections irrelevant to the VSME standard, providing a more focused and precise working environment.

Improved AI-Powered Data Point Information Generation: We’ve integrated artificial intelligence (AI) to significantly improve the generation of data point information, making it more accurate and faster.

“Explore now” Functionality in VSME Report Section: The VSME report section has been updated with a new “Explore now” button. This takes you directly to the Mitigate knowledge base, where you’ll find selected information from the standard regarding specific disclosure requirements. For example, https://www.esgplatform.eu/docs/vsme-disclosure-requirement-b1 to help you understand specific data points in depth.

Report HTML Embed Option

With the new HTML report Embed option, you can now generate a unique link for any report.

This link provides the report in HTML format, which can be easily embedded on your website.

Furthermore, to ensure maximum accessibility, you can generate a separate embed link for each available language.

Update to Data Point E3-4 “Water Intensity Ratio”

To ensure full compliance with the ESRS standard, we’ve made changes related to data point E3-4 “Water intensity ratio”:

Unit Change: The % unit has been removed. Intensity can now be specified in cubic meters (m3) per million EUR net revenue.

Separated Fields: The existing data point (the old field) will still be available in the system, but it is now deprecated and no longer automatically displayed in reports. If needed, you can manually enable it (“Show in report”).

New Field: The new field, named “Water intensity ratio (m3 per million EUR net revenue),” is visible below all other data points.

Customizable Location: If it is necessary to display the new data point in a different location within the report, it can be easily done by customizing the disclosure requirements with the “drag and drop” functionality.

Year Cloning: When cloning the previous year, the old field will be retained if it was used in the previous year’s report.

When initializing a new reporting year, only the new “Water intensity ratio (m3 per million EUR net revenue)” field will be visible.

Other improvements

  • Expanded GHG Emissions (tCO2eq) Input Field, to ensure full data visibility.
  • The Target Baseline and Current Value fields in the edit form now correctly display units.
  • An option has been added to resend unlock instructions.
  • We’ve introduced the ability to expand and collapse data points within the Gap Analysis section.
