March, 2026 Newsletter

Dear Mitigate ESG Platform users,

We are excited to share the latest updates and enhancements to the Mitigate ESG platform! Our continuous development aims to make your reporting experience even more efficient and user-friendly.

Please take a look at the news below, categorized into two sections:

New features

The ESG Survey Suite Enhancements

We have launched a comprehensive set of tools to help you collect data directly from your stakeholders and suppliers.

Value Chain & Entity Surveys

  • Supplier Contact Management: You can now add and manage specific contact information for each Value Chain item. This ensures that surveys are sent to the correct person responsible for data submission.
  • Targeted Sending: Send dedicated sustainability surveys directly to your Value Chain and Entity contacts.
  • Integrated Monitoring: Track the status of your surveys directly within the “Value Chain” or “Entity” detail pages.

Custom Surveys

  • Flexible Participants: Unlike Value Chain surveys, Custom Surveys can be sent to any email address, allowing for broader stakeholder engagement.
  • Diverse Question Types: Both Survey types support various response formats to capture the data you need:
    • Narrative: For detailed text-based disclosures.
    • Single Choice: For clear “Yes/No” or “Scale” responses.
    • Multiple Choice: For selecting all applicable options.

New Survey Dashboard

A dedicated dashboard for each survey that acts as a central hub to track active participation. Monitor response summaries, identify pending recipients, and visualize your data collection progress for that specific survey at a glance.

Refined Consolidation for Percentage & Intensity Data

We have upgraded our calculation engine to ensure accuracy in Group-level reporting.

The platform now automatically identifies intensity, ratio, and time-based data points during consolidation. Instead of a simple sum, the system now applies a Simple Average across all linked entities. This ensures your consolidated report reflects the true mean performance of your entire group.

Data Points included in this update:

  • All Data Points with % Metric:
    • Any data point using the percentage unit will now be consolidated using a simple average to ensure the total does not exceed 100%.
  • ESRS
    • BP-2: Other medium-term time horizon (in years) counted from reporting period
    • BP-2: Other long-term time horizon (in years) counted from reporting period
    • E1-6: GHG emissions intensity, location-based (total GHG emissions per net revenue)
    • E1-6: GHG emissions intensity, market-based (total GHG emissions per net revenue)
    • E3-4: Water intensity ratio (m3 per million EUR net revenue)
    • S1-6: Average number of employees in countries with 50 or more employees representing at least 10% of total number of employees
    • G1-6: Average number of days to pay invoice from date when contractual or statutory term of payment starts to be calculated
  • VSME
    • B3: GHG intensity
    • C9: Gender diversity ratio in governance body
    • C5: If the undertaking employs 50 or more employees, disclose the female-to-male ratio at management level for the reporting period

Unit Transition: VSME C5 & C9 (Percent to Decimal)

To align with international ESG reporting standards and improve data consistency, we have updated the input format for specific VSME data points.

Data points C5 (Female-to-male ratio at management level) and C9 (Gender diversity ratio in governance body) have been transitioned from Percent (%) to Decimal units.

Now when entering data, you will input the decimal equivalent (e.g., instead of entering “60%”, you will enter 0.60).

To ensure your historical records remain intact, the previous version of these data points (using the % unit) will remain available in your list but is now marked as Deprecated. We recommend using the new Decimal data points for all future reporting cycles.

Other improvements

We’ve also rolled out several other improvements to enhance your experience:

  • AI Content Generation: We’ve upgraded our AI engine to provide even more relevant and context-aware suggestions for your ESG disclosures.
  • Subscription Inheritance: Managing complex organizations is now easier. Parent-child company structures now support subscription inheritance, streamlining access for your entire group.
  • Reliable PDF Reporting: We’ve optimized our report generation engine for faster performance and higher reliability when exporting your final ESG reports.
  • Due Diligence Tracking: For better record-keeping, the “Save All” button in the Due Diligence section now automatically captures the current year.
