October, 2025 Newsletter

Dear Mitigate ESG Platform users,

We are excited to share the latest updates and enhancements to the Mitigate ESG platform! Our continuous development aims to make your reporting experience even more efficient and user-friendly.

Please take a look at the news below, categorized into two sections:

New features

New GHG Targets and Levers section

We have launched a completely new GHG Targets section that is more robust and compliant with international standards.

All existing GHG Targets and Levers have been deleted to accommodate the new structure. Please re-add your targets in the new section: Reporting → GHG Emissions → Targets.

It is now possible to add new GHG Targets and Levers and link them together for strategic tracking.

For more detailed information click here.

Additionally the Company Information selection has been removed from the GHG Accounting section.

If consolidated GHG data is required in the final report, ensure the Disclosure Requirement BP-1 is set to “Consolidated.”

Advanced Materiality Assessment Tools

New options have been implemented to give greater control over Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) scoring and visualization.

Assessment score aggregation method allows choosing how assessment scores for Impacts, Risks, and Opportunities are calculated when both own assessments and stakeholder assessments are available. By default, the highest score is used but it is possible to change it to average.

Simple Stakeholder Scoring: When adding new IROs stakeholder assessment, a new option allows you to use simple scoring (one overall score) for stakeholder assessments instead of the full scale/scope/irremediability parameters.

New option to control the level of detail displayed within the materiality matrix. The Compact View shows only the subtopic number, and the Full View shows the subtopic name.

Comment Deletion

Users can now delete their own comments on the platform.

Survey Duplication

When copying a survey, the email content, Intro page, “Thank you” page, and all survey questions are copied to the new draft.

AI DR Checker V2

The Disclosure Requirement AI Checker has been improved. It identifies specific paragraphs and requirements in the ESRS that are missing or incomplete, offering actionable fix recommendations, identifying critical inconsistencies, assessing data transparency, and analyzing language/format.

SBM-2 Table Improvements

SBM-2 Table layout for “Interests and views of stakeholders”, has been changed to make data entry easier.

Old Table: The existing data point (the old table) will still be available in the system, but it is now deprecated and no longer automatically displayed in reports. If needed, you can manually enable it (“Show in report”).

New Table: The new data point is visible below all other data points.

If it is necessary to display the new data point in a different location within the report, it can be easily done by customizing the disclosure requirements with the “drag and drop” functionality.

When cloning the previous year, the old data point will be retained if it was used in the previous year’s report.

When initializing a new reporting year, only the new data point will be visible.

Other improvements

We’ve also rolled out several other improvements to enhance your experience:

  • Improved the quality and accuracy of Data Point content generation with AI.
  • Implemented platform-wide layout improvements for better usability and screen management.
  • Standardized the naming convention for Market-Based and Location-Based Electricity Factors.
  • Improved Target display within report.
  • Implemented formatting to display large numbers with spaces in the report.
  • Improved the IROs template download process.
  • Updated the login page image.
  • Implemented a fix to ensure Survey Question Order Numbers automatically update correctly after a deletion.
  • Form fields now dynamically synchronize with active reporting standards (ESRS/VSME) without requiring a page refresh.
  • Improved Latvian translations for the following ESRS topics: S1 Pašu personāls, S2 Darbinieki vērtības ķēdē, S3 Skartās kopienas, and S4 Patērētāji un tiešie lietotāji.
