Dear Mitigate ESG Platform Community,

We are excited to share with you the latest updates on the Mitigate ESG platform!

Please take a look at the news below, categorized into three sections:

Our platform is continuously evolving, and existing functionalities are being enhanced! Please pay attention to two updates that require your action on the platform:

  1. The current business sector menus have been replaced with NACE code menus. Please check if you have the correct NACE codes in the Settings -> Company -> Primary NACE Code and Secondary NACE Codes section.
  2. We changed how the disclosure requirement and sustainability topics (E, S, G, GD) status is calculated. It will now be calculated based on the sum of data point statuses. Starting from 30.01, the status for all your disclosure requirements will show as “0%.” To display the correct status, please manually set the data point statuses.

New features

Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) Surveys:

The ability to create and send customized surveys to stakeholders using the Mitigate ESG platform.

Information Requests (or surveys for colleagues):

The ability to create and send information requests about data points in the ESG report without creating user profiles on the platform.

Customization of the ESG Report Design:

We have introduced a simple customization feature for the ESG report design.

Data Point Responsible and Status:

The ability to assign a responsible colleague to each data point and set its status. The respective disclosure requirement progress percentage is calculated based on the data point statuses.

Data Point Sidebar:

Please note that the data point toolbar buttons have been moved to the sidebar:

Document Section:

Our platform now has a new document section, where documents in the following formats can be easily uploaded: DOCX, PDF, XLSX. Every time you upload a document, it will be available in this section.

Platform Improvements

  • Possibility to define thresholds for materiality assessment calculation.
  • A large set of data point improvements – names, formats, etc. (these improvements will continue, including EFRAG changes in data point specifications and refining the Latvian language version).
  • Improved Latvian translations for subtopics and disclosure requirements.
  • “Information source” added to the scope categories for GHG accounting.
  • “Information source” added to subtopics.
  • “Information source” added to IRO
  • The ability to edit and delete customized topics and subtopics.
